Purpose for the use of the register

The data are used to contact Ilves Travel Club (ITC) customers and send e-mail notifications about our news, services, invitations, special offers allow us to personalize the content and advertising that you and others see based on personal characteristics or preferences.
The register is based on subscriptions made at www.ilvestravelclub.fi, and on public information sources. Recipients in the register are sent newsletters based on their subscription, either in Finnish, English, Swedish or Russian.
The subscriber can leave the data register by requesting it from the Controller or via a link in the email tours@ilvestravel.fi.

Security

The personally id-information we collect about customer is stored in limited access servers. We will maintain safeguards to protect the security of these servers and customers’ personally id information. No information is disclosed to third parties.

Information to be registered

The following information is entered in the Ilves Travel Club customer register:
– contact information name
– ID number
– name of the company
– street address, postal code, post office
– Business ID
– phone number
– email address

Regular sources of information

The information provided by the customer to the data controller is used by Ilves Travel Club as a data source for the customer register.

Ilves Travel Club subscribers’ information source is Ilves Travel Club’s customer register and information provided by the person using the contact form on the controller’s homepage.

Disclosure of personal data

Data may only be disclosed in the following cases: when required by law.

Transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA

The registrar uses the MailChimp e-mail service for information. For MailChim, a person’s first name, last name, and email address will be transferred from the customer register. MailChimp is an American company that transfers personal information outside the European Union. However, personal information is protected as required by the Personal Data Act, and MailChimp is listed on the US-EU Privacy Shield Certified Companies List. Read more on MailChimp’s website.

Material in physical form

Personal data is not processed manually. If some information needs to be handled manually, documents containing personal data will be properly destroyed after processing.

Electronically stored data

Electronic data is stored in Ilves Travel Club information systems, that use both technical and software tools to ensure information security. Such means are e.g. firewalls, username and password and SSL-security.

Right for collection and modification of information

The data register has the right to check what information has been stored in the personal register. In order to execute the inspection request, the data subject must be in contact with the contact person. Contact information is shown above. The processing of one (1) annual inspection request is free of charge for the data subject.

In addition, the data register has the right to request the modification of incorrect information in the register. The correction request must identify the error to be corrected and indicate the corrected information. In order to modify, the data register must be in contact with the contact person.

Other rights of data register

The data register has the right to prohibit the use of data concerning him / her for the purposes specified by law. Such prohibition may be issued at any time with the contact person mentioned above.
